Reaching the final stage of the selection process does not yet guarantee the club a spot among the partner teams for the upcoming two-year cycle. Riot Games will consider community development, fan popularity, financial stability, infrastructure, and the sporting results of the organizations when making its choice.
Recently, Global Esports won VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 by staging a comeback in the grand final against Nongshim RedForce with a score of 3:2, marking the organization's first regional VCT title.
The team will continue its current season at VALORANT Champions 2026, which is scheduled to take place from September 24 to October 18 in Shanghai.
