NAVI is set to compete against LGD Gaming in the opening round of the PGL Wallachia Season 9 Dota 2 playoffs. The Ukrainian organization secured its spot in the bracket after defeating 1w Team on September 22.
The upcoming match is scheduled for September 24 at 13:00 and will be played in a best-of-three format. The winner of the series will advance to the semifinals of the upper bracket, while the losing team will move to the lower bracket to continue their tournament run.
Other quarterfinal matchups in the upper bracket include Xtreme Gaming facing Team Nemesis, Aurora Gaming against GamerLegion, and Team Yandex taking on 1w Team. All four quarterfinal series are set for September 24, with the subsequent upper bracket semifinals planned for September 25.
PGL Wallachia Season 9 is currently taking place in Bucharest, running from September 19 through September 27. The tournament features 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of 1 million dollars.
