A newly released VRS simulation by analyst Finn has highlighted the shifting landscape for European teams vying for spots at the upcoming PGL Singapore Major. While several top-tier organizations maintain near-certain qualification odds, NAVI and Inner Circle find themselves in more precarious positions as the race intensifies.
NAVI currently faces the most challenging outlook among the major contenders, with the simulation assigning them a 52.1% probability of securing a spot. The model projects an expected placement between 8th and 37th. Finn noted that these figures might be affected by the team's recent absence from official play. To bolster their chances, NAVI will likely need to accumulate around five total victories across the ESL Pro League Season 24 and PGL Bucharest tournaments, with a playoff appearance in at least one of these events considered crucial for improving their standing.
Inner Circle has also seen their prospects dip following a loss to 3DMAX. Their current qualification probability stands at 65.9%, with the simulation forecasting an appearance in Stage 1 and an expected final position within the 11th to 24th range. In contrast, B8 remains in a strong position with a 97.3% chance of reaching the Major, currently projected to enter in Stage 2 with an expected finish between 9th and 16th place.
The top of the table remains stable, featuring teams like Spirit, Vitality, and G2, all of whom hold qualification probabilities of 99.99%. As the qualification cycle progresses, upcoming matchups such as Astralis versus 100 Thieves and 3DMAX versus Alliance are expected to be pivotal in determining the next shifts in the VRS rankings.
