PGL has confirmed the initial list of 14 teams invited to compete at the upcoming PGL Bucharest 2027 tournament. Among the organizations securing direct spots are G2 Esports, FUT Esports, and B8. The event, which is scheduled to take place in Bucharest, Romania, from January 17 to 24, will feature a total prize pool of 1 million dollars.
Notably absent from the list of direct invitees is NAVI. According to the announcement, the team did not receive an invitation primarily due to its current position in the Valve rankings. As a result, NAVI will be unable to participate in the tournament unless they are successful in navigating the upcoming qualification process.
The full list of the 14 confirmed invitees includes Spirit, Legacy, Vitality, MOUZ, G2 Esports, Falcons, FURIA, FUT Esports, Aurora, Astralis, BetBoom, MIBR, B8, and Nemiga. With 16 slots available in total for the competition, the final two participant spots will be determined through closed qualifying rounds.
