Microsoft has announced two new features for Xbox Cloud Gaming designed to make it easier to access cloud streaming on televisions without needing a standard console gamepad.

Users can now use their iOS or Android mobile devices as gamepads. To do this, players must launch the Xbox app on a compatible Smart TV and enable the Preview Features option within their account settings. If a controller is not connected to the television, the system will automatically prompt the user to sync their smartphone.

Additionally, Microsoft has added compatibility for the new compact Xbox Nano Controller, priced at $49.99. A key feature of this device is its ability to connect directly to the system through the same Wi-Fi network used for game video streaming, which optimizes connection stability for cloud gaming.
