Respawn Entertainment has revealed details regarding the upcoming Apex Legends collaboration with the Godzilla franchise, which is scheduled to begin on 10 November. The event will introduce themed character and weapon skins, a new universal melee weapon, and a special Wildcard mode.
Players will be able to acquire 10 new outfits inspired by monsters and characters from the franchise, including Bloodhound as Godzilla 2026, Valkyrie as Mothra 2003, Wraith as Godzilla 2016, Pathfinder as Mechagodzilla 1974, Mad Maggie as Destoroyah, Loba as SpaceGodzilla, Horizon as Godzilla 1995, Revenant as Super Mechagodzilla 1993, Catalyst as Ghidorah 1991, and Octane as Jet Jaguar. Additionally, nine legendary weapon skins will be added for the Devotion, Hemlok, Rampage, CAR, Havoc, Longbow, Wingman, Prowler, and Sentinel.
The Octane Jet Jaguar skin will be available through the new event pass, while the Catalyst Ghidorah 1991 outfit will be included in the premium tier. The collaboration also brings a mythic item called the Dorsal Dagger, designed as a blue knife modeled after Godzilla dorsal fins.
During the event, Godzilla will appear on the Storm Point map within the Wildcard mode, featuring damaged buildings, burned trees, and scattered debris. Players can locate supply bins near impact sites of Godzilla heat beam, offering a special version of the Devotion light machine gun capable of firing a heat beam that tracks opponents.
