Tournament operator BLAST has officially announced a partnership with the educational platform DAIGON Esports, becoming the main sponsor of the global School Esports World Championships.
The grand final of the competition is scheduled to take place from November 19 to 22, 2026, in Malta during the PLAYCON festival. The final stage will feature school teams from various countries that successfully passed the qualification stage in DAIGON international seasonal leagues.
The tournament organizers have decided to move away from a traditional monetary prize pool. Instead, awards provided by BLAST will focus on the educational development of participants, improving digital literacy, and fostering teamwork skills.
