3DMAX has been crowned the champion of the Logitech G Play Connect 2026 tournament. In a tightly contested grand final, the French roster secured a 3-2 victory over Luminosity to take the title.
The series required all five maps to determine a winner. 3DMAX started strong by taking Cache 13-11 and Dust2 19-16. Luminosity responded by leveling the series, winning Ancient 19-15 and Inferno 13-8. Ultimately, the French team clinched the trophy by winning the deciding map, Nuke, with a score of 16-13.
Brian Maka Kanda stood out as the top performer for the winning side throughout the series. Kanda finished the final with an individual rating of 1.32, recording 111 kills against 82 deaths with an average damage per round of 88.2.
The tournament victory is a significant development for 3DMAX regarding their major qualification path. Prior to the grand final, the team's chances of qualifying for the major were estimated at approximately 32 percent.
To reach the tournament's final stage, 3DMAX successfully navigated through previous rounds, including a semifinal victory over Inner Circle and a quarterfinal win against M80.
