The 9z esports organization has announced a roster change ahead of PGL Major Singapore 2026, bringing in 22-year-old Brazilian player Allan «history» Lawrence as a substitute. Lawrence previously represented teams such as ARCTIC, Fluxo and RED Canids, and also holds prior experience competing at majors in Paris in 2023 and Budapest in 2025. Ignacio «meyern» Meyer will not be part of the five-player lineup representing 9z at the upcoming tournament in Singapore.
According to the club, recent months saw the team attempt to improve their results through altered approaches, role adjustments and individual practice, but these efforts failed to produce the desired effect. Head coach Bruno «BIT» Lima noted that introducing a substitute player could provide the team with fresh energy and a different perspective heading into the major. Following PGL Major Singapore 2026, the organization intends to evaluate season results and determine subsequent steps.
Ahead of the tournament, 9z will also participate in an intensive bootcamp in Serbia. PGL Major Singapore 2026 is scheduled to start on November 24, with 9z beginning their campaign in Stage 1.
