Studio Bulkhead has announced the third season of Wardogs, which is scheduled to start on November 12. During a recent developer update, the team reviewed the second season, acknowledged its existing issues, and showcased a selection of upcoming changes for the next update.
Among the primary additions is a new map named Sabatulo, featuring dense urban architecture and a strong emphasis on close-quarters combat. In addition, future seasons will now last approximately three months, with the progression pace designed to mirror that of the first season. The game will also introduce cross-progression for items across different upgrade branches.
Furthermore, the developers announced a Limited Mode featuring servers with restrictions on high-tier loot, armor, ammunition, and select vehicles. Alongside these updates, Bulkhead reported a massive wave of bans following an AI-driven anti-cheat system analysis of 187 million hours of gameplay.
The automated system resulted in the permanent blocking of 185,000 accounts that were found utilizing unauthorized cheats within the game.
