Malta will showcase its unified Make It In Malta initiative at SBC Summit Lisbon, bringing together several key national entities under a single presentation. The industry event is scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 1.
Located at Stand B251 in Hall 2, the combined platform will feature the Malta Gaming Authority, GamingMalta, Identità, Malta Enterprise, and Bank of Valletta. The joint format is designed to simplify crucial operational procedures for iGaming companies, offering assistance with licensing, business promotion, visa processing, investment opportunities, and banking services.
First introduced at ICE Barcelona earlier this year, the initiative highlights Malta's broader offer to the gambling sector. MGA Head Charles Mizzi noted that the jurisdiction's advantages extend beyond regulatory oversight to include an established infrastructure, specialized expertise, and ongoing operational support.
Against the backdrop of shifting regulatory frameworks in European markets such as Germany and the Netherlands, Malta aims to use the initiative to reinforce its standing as one of Europe's primary iGaming hubs.
