The organizers of the BLAST SLAM VIII Dota 2 tournament have announced the official group distribution for the upcoming competition. Natus Vincere has been placed in Group B, where they will compete alongside 1w Team, Team Nemesis, and Team Spirit. The team is scheduled to play its opening match against 1w Team on September 29.
The tournament will feature 16 teams divided into four distinct groups. According to the format, the winners of each group will advance to a Seeding Match to determine their placement in the playoff semifinals, while the runner-up from that match will start the playoffs from the quarterfinals.
Teams finishing in second place within their respective groups will move on to a last-chance bracket, which will offer two additional slots in the playoff stage. The remaining participants will be eliminated from the competition.
BLAST SLAM VIII is set to run from September 29 until October 11, with a total prize pool of 750,000 dollars.
