Microsoft has received proposals from several companies regarding the potential acquisition of Arkane Studios, which is currently facing the possibility of closure. According to information from Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, Ubisoft and two other companies have expressed interest in acquiring the studio.
This widespread interest has led Microsoft to grant Arkane Studios additional time to determine its future. Initially, potential buyers faced a deadline of November 13 to make a decision, failing which the studio would have been closed. It was subsequently revealed that the studio received a one-month extension.
Insiders indicate that Ubisoft had shown interest in acquiring Arkane Studios even before public reports emerged regarding the difficult situation surrounding the developer.
